Shades of Amber 2026

A weekend of concerts, free sessions and an exhibition with Dougie MacLean and friends at Cardney Steading near Dunkeld.

Shades of Amber 2026 runs across three days at Cardney Steading, opening on Friday 30 October with food from Strathearn Food Company in the Old Mill, a free first viewing of the Jennifer MacLean Exhibition 2026, and an opening concert by Dougie MacLean and Special Musical Friends in The Dalriadan. Saturday brings a lunchtime concert, a free open mic in the Rustic Cattle Shed, a free firepit song and tune session, and an evening concert, with a farewell concert closing the weekend on Sunday afternoon. Informal music sessions can also erupt anywhere on the steading from Friday 6pm to Sunday 6pm, and shuttle buses run from Dunkeld to each concert.
