Discover Your Local Air Ambulance: Children's Session

A family session at the Great North Air Ambulance Service with a talk, children's activity, Q&A and the chance to meet mascot Miles the Bear and see the helicopter.

This two-hour children's discovery session is designed for ages 4–11 and their families. It includes a short talk about how the Great North Air Ambulance Service saves lives across the region, a hands-on children's activity, and a live Q&A. Children can meet mascot Miles the Bear, get up close to the charity's helicopter and take photos with the aircraft and mascot. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
