About
A free introductory Machine Learning and coding session launching the City AI Societies Collective's ML/AI lecture series, hosted by Martin He.
This first in-person session of the Machine Learning/AI Lecture Series introduces ML, AI and software development across contexts from STEM to law and the humanities. Attendees get a programme overview including certification and capstone projects, a history of AI and its impact on the job market, and a hands-on introduction to Python. Participants also set up their development environment with VS Code, Git and GitHub, write their first "Hello, World!" programme, and hear about web development projects planned for the rest of the series.
