The Nature of Breathing is a 45-minute deep-listening playback built from breath and natural sound, created by Jamie Clements with Tom Middleton.

The recorded soundscape traces breath through images of wind, tide, forests and air, moving around the listener in 360° audio. It combines an original composition and spatial design by Tom Middleton with a guided arc by Jamie Clements, from an individual breathing rhythm toward a shared closing exhale. The detail describes a playback experience rather than a live set.
