Memorial Chapel Tour 2026

Visit the Allan-Fraser Memorial Chapel, an unusually designed building in Arbroath’s Western Cemetery.

The Memorial Chapel was designed by Patrick Allan-Fraser as a memorial to his wife Elizabeth and her parents. The tour explores its design and eclectic architectural influences. It is about a 20-minute walk or five-minute drive from Hospitalfield House; meet at the chapel entrance in Western Cemetery. Parking is available at East Muirlands Road. Adult individual tickets are £10; a Saturday combined House and Chapel ticket is £19. Tours are free for children aged 16 and under and carers supporting the person they care for. Tickets must be booked in advance.
