Boundaries Fest 2026

The sixth edition of Sunderland's Boundaries Festival, celebrating international experimental music and art across two days.

Boundaries Fest returns to Sunderland for its sixth edition, spanning Friday evening and Saturday with a programme of experimental music and art. The line-up ranges from acoustic to electronic, including solo performers, duos and full bands working with saxophone, experimental guitar, analogue synths, free improvisation, noise, drone and spatial sound. The festival also features live art, audiovisual work, art screenings, a 360-degree visual installation by Konx-Om-Pax and a walk-in Sonic Intangibles workshop where participants create sound from data and text.
