Deer Feed Trailer Ride

A ranger-led trailer ride through Tatton Park's deer park to watch the daily winter feed of over 500 Red and Fallow deer.

Tatton Park has been a deer park since 1290 and is still home to more than 500 Red and Fallow deer roaming freely. During winter the deer are fed daily as natural food becomes scarcer. Expert rangers lead a trailer ride to watch the daily deer feed, giving participants a close look at hundreds of deer in their natural setting. The session runs 9.30–11.00am, meets at the Main Car Park, has a minimum age of 4 and a maximum of 25 participants; it is not accessible for wheelchair users, though the 17 February ride will be.
