About
The Berkshire Junior Chess Association hosts its annual open chess tournament for junior players.
This event is the fourth BJCA Open Event - Chess Tournament for the 2026–27 chess year. It is open to junior players who are younger than 18 as of August 31, 2026. The tournament consists of 6 rounds using Swiss pairings and Fischer timing, with games starting at 10 minutes plus 5 seconds per move.
