About
Visit the Gallery’s reinstalled Victorian chemist shop, collected from 27 High Street and displayed in the museum since 1974.
The historic Steward’s Chemist Shop was acquired with its fixtures and fittings after the original shop closed and reinstalled at the museum in 1974. The display also includes the shop lamp restored after Malcolm Steward contacted The Repair Shop. It is open to visitors on the first Friday of the month, 11:00–15:00; the Gallery is free.
