Diwali Celebration
About
A free drop-in Diwali celebration with storytelling, crafts, games, South Asian snacks and chai, alongside the Warm Welcome café.
Woodlands Community hosts a free, drop-in Diwali celebration marking the festival of light with storytelling from Gauri Raje, crafts for all ages, board games, a photo booth and South Asian snacks. A pop-up version of the Anti-Racist Library will be available to browse and borrow from, and Anam's chai will be served in a warm indoor space. Attendees are invited to dress in a way that celebrates their heritage and culture. The Warm Welcome café runs alongside from 1-4pm downstairs, offering a free plant-based, halal meal to everyone.
