Amanda Craig: High and Low

Amanda Craig introduces a novel about moral choices under siege in contemporary Britain.

In High and Low, a group of writers, bakers and shopkeepers shelter in a café from an armed mob and try to protect a child. Amanda Craig discusses what people owe to strangers, neighbours and enemies.
