About
SOAS China Institute hosts a roundtable on how Chinese brands present themselves in global markets and how their stories are read abroad.
The roundtable considers whether Chinese brands tell stories of China or something else, using consumer culture and global expansion to discuss strategy, identity and the marketisation of cultural heritage. Speakers are Yaling Jiang, Dr Wenwei Li and Dr Kelly Meng; Dr Carwyn Morris chairs. It takes place in SOAS Main Building, Room RG01, on campus; free registration is required.
