Paxton Pits Trick or Trail

A self-led Halloween pumpkin trail at Paxton Pits Nature Reserve with crafts, storytelling and activities for children.

Children become Guardians of Paxton Pits on a spooky outdoor adventure, hunting for nine wooden pumpkins hidden along the trail and recording their numbers in an activity booklet to crack a spooky code. Sessions run from the Visitors Centre with staggered hourly entry times, the last bookable at 3pm. Each child ticket includes an activity booklet, collection bag, wooden amulet to decorate, a willow wand, storytelling from the Keeper of the Wildwood, and a sapling to take home and plant.
