Part of York Ghost Week 2026, this trail invites families to follow clues and solve puzzles around the Mansion House while helping ghostly headmaster John Pulleyn keep the peace before young Guy Fawkes unleashes more Mischief Night misrule than the city can handle. The trail explores the history of Mischief Night and Guy Fawkes's boyhood pranks in York. Everyone who completes the trail puzzle book is entered into a draw to win a unique Ghost Merchants ghost inspired by the Mansion House. Visitors are advised to allow about an hour, with tickets sold on the door only.
