A Seasonal Magic Lantern Show - 'Digital Detox'

A festive magic lantern slide talk by Sara Basquill featuring Lincolnshire scenes, Victorian joke slides and a Cinderella story, with mince pies.

Sara Basquill presents her great, great grandfather's magic lantern in a festive-themed illustrated talk. The presentation covers the history of the magic lantern and how this example was used in Sunday School, alongside slides of Lincolnshire scenes and personalities, Victorian joke slides and a short eight-slide Cinderella story recreating a Victorian lantern show. Tea, coffee and mince pies are included in this two-hour seasonal event.
