About
SUUTOO presents MAGIC SYSTEM, a solo exhibition featuring newly commissioned sound, sculpture, and moving image exploring image-making as myth and fetish.
The exhibition explores image-making through the lens of myth, propaganda, and fetish, drawing parallels with historian William Pietz’s work. SUUTOO stages an abandoned play using props, portals, and noise, gathering strategies from performance, visual art, and underground club culture. The work reconsiders the fetish as a liberatory tool within a psy*pop circuit.
