BEDLAM 2026: Chai & Chat

Chai and Chat, a discussion series created by Sampad, brings Dr Hassan Hussain and Conor Elliman together for an open, informal conversation about wellbeing in the arts, covering the pressures of creative practice and how practitioners can support themselves and each other. Attendees can share a cup of chai and connect with others working across the arts. The session forms part of the BEDLAM Arts & Mental Health Symposium, running Fri 6 and Sat 7 Nov 2026, a partnership between Sampad, Birmingham Rep and Midlands Arts Centre featuring talks, workshops, discussions and performances.
