JazzLeeds – Sam Quintana’s Wandering Monster

Leeds jazz quintet Wandering Monster, led by bassist Sam Quintana, performs original music blending jazz, rock and world influences.

Wandering Monster is a tenor saxophone/guitar quintet led by double bassist Sam Quintana, whose original compositions draw on American and European jazz, rock and world music. The band, part of the thriving Leeds scene, has toured the UK behind its recent album Zenna. The afternoon performance runs from 1.30pm to 4pm and features Sam Quintana on double bass, Ben Powling on tenor sax, Calvin Travers on guitar, Richard Harrold on piano/keys and Tom Higham on drums.
