Grim Dark Gaming Society

A non-profit sci-fi and table-top gaming club session where beginners and experienced players can play, paint and discuss Warhammer and other strategy and board games.

The Grim Dark Gaming Society, running since January 2023, meets above the Willows Shake Shop in Abingdon town centre for sessions of science fiction and table-top gaming. The society provides facilities and equipment for playing and painting fantasy and sci-fi games, with Warhammer and similar strategy games as the main focus, plus board games such as Rumble Slam and Scythe. Beginners and experienced players are all welcome, with a committee member on hand at each session to welcome newcomers. Refreshments such as milkshakes, coffee, tea and cold drinks are available downstairs.
