Gary Wood's Jazz Hootenanny

Pershore Jazz Club hosts Gary Wood's Jazz Hootenanny, an evening of varied traditional jazz with audience participation.

Gary Wood leads a five-piece line-up on trumpet and vocals, joined by Sue Greenway on saxophone, clarinet and vocals, Dickie White on banjo, Malcolm Sked on bass and Graham Smith on drums. The club promises an entertaining evening of great variety with quality music and fun, with Wood known as a natural front-man who involves the audience — you might even find yourself singing along. The session runs 8pm to 10.30pm with doors opening at 7pm, and reservations are suggested to ensure a seat.
