Frome Storytelling Circle – October session

A friendly monthly circle for traditional oral storytelling, where tellers share folktales, myths and personal stories from memory and listeners are equally welcome.

Frome Storytelling Circle meets upstairs at The Three Swans pub for an evening of traditional oral storytelling in a relaxed setting. Anyone can tell a story from memory — folktales, fairy tales, myths, legends, contemporary or personal — with stories limited to 10 minutes and no need to book a slot. Newcomers and experienced tellers are both welcome, and listeners who simply want to hear stories are equally encouraged; there is no pressure to perform. The session is hosted by Bridget, Lesley, Mike, Ruth and Steph.
