About
Using museum objects and local stories, this exhibition examines changing relationships between Islington residents and wild, working and domestic animals during the nineteenth century.
The display follows changes in how people used and regarded animals as Islington grew from a rural town into an industrial borough. Museum materials include cattle bones, Royal Agricultural Hall posters and historical photographs of the borough’s streets. The exhibition is curated by Islington Museum.
