Marcin Dudek: PAWILON
About
Marcin Dudek’s PAWILON turns memories of a Kraków estate supermarket into an installation of fragmented architecture, found objects and wall-based works.
Dudek uses steel, insulation foam and repurposed objects to suggest the supermarket’s aisles rather than reconstruct it literally. Material excavated behind the original shop connects personal memory with documentary research. The installation considers the supermarket as a social space shaped by communal life, shortages, economic change and violence. An advertised 15 October, 18:00–20:00 opening belongs to this exhibition at the same Fitzrovia gallery; artist attendance, admission price and reception booking eligibility remain unknown.
