Girl Group

Norwich show by Girl Group, the five-piece band formed at LIPA whose name embraces and subverts the industry-made girl group.

Girl Group are Katya, Maria, Thea, Mia and Lil, five women who met while studying at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and have lived together since. Four are from Oslo and Lil is from Yorkshire, and each brings her own sounds and sonic references. The band chose their deliberately generic name to embrace and subvert industry-made girl groups, aiming for every part of their creative journey to be made by women, and are touring behind their debut EP. The show runs from 7pm to 10:30pm at Epic Studios.
