About
A festive family concert screening of The Snowman with live brass accompaniment from the EverReady Band at The Fire Station.
The Fire Station's annual Christmas screening of the 1982 animated film The Snowman, with the award-winning EverReady Band performing the score live, including "Walking in the Air". Now in its third year, the event pairs Raymond Briggs' beloved story with a virtuosic brass performance from the North East band, formed in 1910 as the Craghead Colliery Band. Three performances run on Sunday 20 December, with doors opening 30 minutes before each. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
