About
Pearl Mackie performs Gurpreet Kaur Bhatti’s one-woman play about a mother struggling to keep her child while navigating inequality and the criminal justice system.
Milli Bhatia directs a Clean Break and Brixton House co-production following a mother and her daughter Bliss. The production considers how institutions, poverty and past trauma shape a woman’s choices. Recommended for ages 14 and over; content includes imprisonment, abuse, neglect, child separation, sex work, substance use and self-harm. The published running time is 70 minutes. The 14 October press night and 22 October schools matinee are retained from the existing canonical schedule; public ticket availability for those sessions is not established.
