About

Manchester groove-jazz band Tollbar plays original tunes led by two saxophones over a rhythm section including vibraphone.

Tollbar’s original music is rooted in drum grooves with calypso, Afro-Cuban, afrobeat and reggae influences. Nick Cavill plays alto saxophone and Stan Lewis tenor saxophone, with Tony Korycki on vibraphone, Matt Birkett on guitar, Andy Brown on double bass and Jim Adnitt on drums. Doors are 5pm; the published performance is 7–8:45pm on 7 November. Standing entry is free; reserved tables are optional.
