Jerwood Pit Perfect Encounters

Short pre-opera chamber concerts by Glyndebourne Sinfonia's Jerwood Pit Perfect graduate players in the Jerwood Studio before mainstage performances.

During Glyndebourne's Autumn Season, the Jerwood Pit Perfect Encounters offer pre-performance chamber recitals in the Jerwood Studio, given by players from the Glyndebourne Sinfonia's graduate scheme alongside Sinfonia members. Programmes are inspired by the operas on stage that day and include works by Mozart, Rossini, Amy Beach and Mark-Anthony Turnage, with a chance to talk to the musicians about pit performance. This year's Jerwood Pit Perfect players are Catherine Alsey (violin), Rowan Dymott (violin), Scott Storey (viola) and Lize Dreyer (cello).
