Award Winning Films from the 2026 Frome International Climate Film Festival

The Film Room community cinema screens award-winning films from the 2026 Frome International Climate Film Festival, with two documentaries shown at each monthly session.

The Film Room is a community cinema strand of the Frome International Climate Film Festival showcasing non-mainstream films that matter. The 18 November session pairs When Solar Lights Upon the Community, about Shanghai's Green Housewives turning a neighbourhood into a stage for renewable energy, with Welcome to the Neighbourhood, exploring cities as living habitats for people and wildlife. The 16 December session shows Rooted in Resilience, following Indigenous entrepreneurs who treat the land as a relative rather than a resource, alongside Wasted 2025, which urges rethinking our relationship with natural resources.
