About
Ruts DC celebrate 50 years of Ruts music with a live show spanning the band's punk history.
Ruts DC present '50 Years of Ruts Music 1977-2027', a live celebration of the band formed in 1977 by Malcolm Owen, Paul Fox, Dave Ruffy and Segs Jennings. The show spans material from The Crack and Grin & Bear It through Animal Now, Rhythm Collision, Music Must Destroy and Counterculture?, including singles such as Babylon's Burning and West One (Shine On Me). The band describe it as a celebration rather than a reunion, tribute or recreation, performed by original members with guitarist Leigh Heggarty.
