SCRA Court Preparation Training Session

A three-hour in-person training session preparing professionals who work with children for their role as a witness in court proceedings.

This training session, organised by Protecting People Angus, addresses how the presentation of evidence in court has changed and prepares professionals working with children to act as witnesses in proceedings. Topics covered include the Reporter's role in court, precognitions and witness statements, evidence as facts versus opinions, examination in chief, cross examination, and the role of the Sheriff. The session runs for three hours at the Training Suite at Angus House in Forfar.
