A two-day amateur choral and ensemble competition, with children's and youth classes alongside adult choir, orchestra, band and recorder groups.
The festival's 2027 syllabus schedules children's and young people's classes on 8 February, with adult choir classes provisionally split across 8 and 11 February according to entries. Groups perform short selections for adjudication; the programme includes classical, contemporary, folk and popular repertoire. Individual class times depend on entries and are not yet published.
