Hygge – A Celebration of Art, Warmth and Winter Comfort

A free festive group art exhibition at Creative Melbourne Gallery inspired by the Danish concept of hygge, open Wednesdays to Saturdays.

Creative Melbourne Gallery presents Hygge, a festive Christmas exhibition of original artwork and unique gifts inspired by the Danish concept of warmth, comfort and contentment. The show brings together work by Melbourne Festival artists including Caroline Barnes, Stevie Davies, Audrey Ebrey, Michelle Holmes, Steph Jansen, Steven McLoughlin, Steven Tandy and Katherine Brunt, with an emphasis on colour, texture and craftsmanship. The gallery is open Wednesdays to Saturdays, 10am to 4pm, and a free preview evening takes place on Wednesday 11 November from 5pm, with a free Christmas shopping event on Sunday 29 November, 3-6pm. Entry is free, the venue is wheelchair accessible and dogs on leads are welcome.
