About

Anthony Almeida directs a touring co-production of Shakespeare's Othello at New Theatre Peterborough, with evening performances and schools matinees.

A Northern Stage, HOME Manchester and Citizens Theatre co-production in association with Royal & Derngate presents Shakespeare's tragedy of fear, passion and paranoia in a newlywed marriage, as Iago's whispered manipulations end in ruin. Director Anthony Almeida's staging looks afresh at the iconic tragedy, described as being as much about love as hate, and reviewers have noted its innovative use of 1980s tracks. Evening performances run at 7.30pm with 1.30pm schools matinees on Wednesday and Thursday.
