Pen, Ink & Watercolour with Jim Steele

A four-week Thursday evening course with Jim Steele teaching how to combine ink linework with watercolour washes, for adults aged 18+.

Jim Steele leads a small-group course (maximum 8 people) focused on new or improving skills in combining ink linework with watercolour washes. Each two-hour session covers structured techniques progressing from line drawing to watercolour layering and composition, with process pieces from the tutor's own portfolios shown to illustrate what the medium can achieve. Workshops are set up ready to use and participants complete a final piece to take home, with all painting and drawing materials included in the price. The course runs over four consecutive Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm and is open to adults aged 18 and over.
