Bird Ringing Demonstration

Ornithologist Bill Haines demonstrates how wild birds are safely caught, recorded and ringed for research.

This free drop-in demonstration in Holland Park's Wildlife Area explains how bird ringing helps track local and wider bird populations. It runs from 7.30am to 11.30am; the organiser says more species are usually found earlier. Friends of Holland Park sponsors the event.
