Paul Pfeiffer: Pasodoble

Paul Pfeiffer’s new video installation examines the labour, images and rituals surrounding bullfighting.

Filmed at a breeding farm near Seville, a Bilbao bullring and a broadcast van, the single-screen work considers how spectatorship, sound and mediated images sustain a public spectacle. This exhibition installation is not a schedule of routine cinema screenings; no live artist attendance is inferred. An opening private view is advertised for Monday12October18:00–20:00; RSVP, price and attendance eligibility are not specified. The exhibition’s normal gallery hours are separate from office hours.
