About
A French teacher tries to guide his pupils without crushing their spirits in Laurent Cantet’s portrait of life inside a junior high school.
François Bégaudeau’s autobiographical novel informed Cantet’s film, which stays within a junior high school and examines how questions of equality, social integration and exclusion surface in classroom life. The Lexi bills the event as a Classroom Cinema screening with an introduction.
