About
Two postgraduate papers examine medievalism through the film Rabbit Trap and contemporary trans artists’ engagements with Joan of Arc and medieval archives.
Emily Dixon reads the film Rabbit Trap through sound, soil and ecological memory of the Middle Ages. Jake Ferguson discusses contemporary trans artists’ and writers’ counter-archives of Joan of Arc, using critical fabulation and trans theory to question cisnormative uses of medieval archives. The 90-minute event is advertised in hybrid format at IHR Pollard Seminar Room N301 and via Teams. A booking link is published, but fees are not stated on the accessible detail page.
