About
An evening walk with local legends and ghost stories along Samphire Hoe.
Ranger Paul leads a family-friendly walk around Samphire Hoe, sharing local legends and imagined tales of ghosts, smugglers and the Tommyknockers said to haunt an old coal mine. The walk may be frightening for sensitive children; children must stay with an adult. Bring a torch, warm clothes and sturdy footwear. Meet at the Rangers Hut; well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. The route includes steps and uneven, untarmacked paths.
