Vibrate by Jo Larcombe

A two-woman show of story and original songs tracing the history of vibrators, from Victorian toys to modern self-care.

Following a sell-out run at Ventnor Fringe, Jo Larcombe brings her full show Vibrate to Dimbola. Performed by Jo Larcombe and Karin Wall, it uses story and original songs to explore the history of vibrators, from early archaeologists' discoveries and Victorian toys and advertising to today's devices, tracing how attitudes shifted from female 'hysteria' to wellbeing and self-care. Doors open at 6pm for a 6.30pm sit-down, with an interval and pay bar; the show ends by 9pm.
