Introduction to Live Sound Engineering

This adult/16+ workshop offers a basic introduction to live sound engineering, aimed at aspiring sound engineers and musicians who want to get a better sound from a PA at their gigs. Topics include types of microphone and placement, basic parts of a PA, using a mixing desk and basic EQ. It is suitable for complete beginners or those with gaps in their live sound knowledge, running as a full-day session with tea and coffee provided; participants should bring a packed lunch.
