About
A volunteer-created immersive storytelling maze at Barnton Bunker blending Scottish folklore, live characters and spooky fun.
Running from 20–30 October 2026, this immersive storytelling adventure invites visitors through handcrafted environments inspired by Scottish folklore and heritage, set in the former military complex of Barnton Bunker. Live characters, handmade scenery, lighting and sound combine humour, suspense and moments of fright as Greyfriar's Bobby and William Wallace face a supernatural Haggis. Everything is created by local and international volunteers using salvaged and repurposed materials.
