Intermediate Sewing Course with Nicola Carr

A full-day intermediate sewing workshop to make a Japanese apron while practising pattern reading, fabric cutting, garment construction and finishing.

Led by Nicola Carr, this course is intended for people who already know basic sewing-machine use. Participants make a Japanese apron and practise reading and laying out a pattern, cutting fabric, assembling the garment and finishing it. Bring a sewing machine, two metres of suitable fabric and matching thread; a limited number of machines may be borrowed by prior arrangement. Refreshments are provided.
