Masterclass: Special Effects Makeup for 15-30s

A hands-on special effects makeup workshop for 15-30s at the Palace Theatre, learning to create stage and screen wounds with a professional artist.

Led by a professional makeup artist, this ATG INSPIRE session teaches the tricks of the trade for creating gruesome cuts, bruises and wounds for stage and screen. Participants watch a demonstration of makeup applications before creating their own stage-ready looks on themselves using professional products, with all equipment, paints and wax provided. The workshop is for young people aged 15-30 and takes place in the Palace Theatre's workshop spaces, which are accessible by stairs; latex and latex alternatives are used.
