No to Nuclear: Why Nuclear Power Destroys Lives, Derails Climate Progress

Author Linda Pentz Gunter talks about her book No To Nuclear, arguing nuclear power harms people, wildlife and climate progress, with a Q&A and signed copies on sale.

Shrewsbury Green Party hosts author Linda Pentz Gunter, founder of Beyond Nuclear, speaking on her latest book No To Nuclear: Why Nuclear Power Destroys Lives, Derails Climate Progress and Provokes War. She challenges claims that nuclear energy is clean and homegrown, arguing it is slow, expensive, prolongs fossil fuel use and disproportionately harms Indigenous peoples and marginalised communities. The talk runs 90 minutes with doors at 7:15pm, followed by a Q&A; signed copies of the book will be available at a special price of £10.
