Sip and Sounds with Tom Kitching
About
Tom Kitching presents storytelling and music from his book and album Where There's Brass in an intimate acoustic night at Groucho's Bar.
Part of the Sip & Sounds series of acoustic music nights, this show features author and musician Tom Kitching presenting his new book and album Where There's Brass. It documents six months living in the London waterways community, travelling from Manchester aboard a traditional narrowboat built in 1937, portraying the waterways as both a struggling and vibrant alternative community. Stories old and new are interwoven with a specially composed suite of music, performed with long-term accompanist Marit Fält on Nordic mandola.
