Bara Caws: Bugail Geifr

Theatr Bara Caws marks its 50th anniversary with Aled Jones Williams's final verse-drama monologue, written for and performed by founding member Dyfan Roberts.

Theatr Bara Caws celebrates its 50th anniversary with Y Bugail Geifr, a verse-drama in the form of a monologue by Aled Jones Williams, described as his last play and a gift to the company. Written specially for Dyfan Roberts, one of the company's founders, the piece is a tribute to Bara Caws and to theatre itself, asking what the beating heart of theatre is. One actor voices a multitude of spirits and individuals drawn from the company's history; the performance runs about 1 hour 10 minutes and is directed by Betsan Llwyd.
