About
Free drop-in family lantern-making workshops at Siloh Christian Centre, making festive lanterns ahead of the Ystrad Mynach lantern parade.
Caerphilly County Borough Council is running two free drop-in lantern-making workshops ahead of the Music and Light Santa Hat Lantern Parade in Ystrad Mynach town centre on Saturday 5 December. Families can drop in between 10am and 4pm on either Saturday, with craft paper and glue provided to make a family lantern or something more adventurous. The sessions are aimed at all ages, with children and adults both encouraged to get creative, and are financially supported by Gelligaer Community Council.
