The Cabinet Secretary’s annual lecture examines how the Civil Service can modernise public delivery while adapting to institutional change.
Dame Antonia Romeo, Cabinet Secretary and Head of the Civil Service, reflects on the organisation’s current reform programme and the opportunities and risks ahead. She considers how an AI-enabled Civil Service could improve productivity and agility, support greater devolution and strengthen resilience. Professor Larry Kramer chairs the lecture.
